The Prescription for Security

Working together with Secural Security, video can be sent directly to their patrol vehicles. This allows responding officers to see first hand what is occurring on your property. Security officers are also able to replay video as needed for responding Law Enforcement Agencies as well as provide color photographs for evidentiary purposes. 

V.A.S.T. Guard was designed out of necessity. It is the collaboration of the guard and security camera industries. In our everyday experiences we have found that clients have similar issues. Most, if not all, would like to have standing guards on their property, but due to limited budgets are not able to hire quality security guard services. With V.A.S.T. Guard clients can have it all! V.A.S.T. Guard is able to take the place of standing guards via remote video monitoring. Clients are now able to take video security systems that recorded hours of useless video and have that same system remotely watched by a video operator for a fraction of the cost of a single security officer. 

Private monitoring service plans are tailored to the clients needs. Some clients have existing video camera systems which can be merged with our program without additional equipment needed. Some clients have outdated camera systems which can be upgraded in part or all as needed. Examples of packaged plans:

- 8 Camera Plan: 8 Monitored Cameras with 2 spot checks per hour for a 12 hour period. 

- 16 Camera Plan: 16 Monitored Cameras with 2 spot checks per hour for a 12 hour period. 

- Alarm Verification where if an alarm activation occurs a V.A.S.T. Guard operator will log onto your video system to confirm the activation and to verify response. 

Video transmission hardware, software and digital recorders are available for lease or purchase. 

Video monitoring plans are contracted for a minimum of 1 year. Multiple client locations are eligible for discounts. Alarm verification is based upon existing alarm systems or existing implemented panic systems. Prices may change based upon equipment needed. Prices do not reflect installation costs.

Q: Can V.A.S.T. Guard monitor my existing video surveillance system?

A: Yes, V.A.S.T. Guard can video monitor any stationary or P.T.Z Video system currently on the market.

Q: What are the requirements for V.A.S.T. Guard to remotely monitor my video system?

A: A reliable surveillance system must be in place or installed in the areas that you wish be protected. An internet connection must be available in order for the hardware to transmit. 

Q: How does your service work?

A: V.A.S.T. Guard operators log onto your system with the use of a secured fixed IP address. When either video patrolling or awaiting a panic activation, video operators look for violations of local or state laws and your company policies. When a violation occurs or is about to occur our video operators begin spot recording then dispatch security or law enforcement. Crimes no longer go unreported.
